Another Great Show for Purple

Our client, Jigsaw Transport, was again highly complimentary of the 50m sq stand we designed, built and support-hosted at the NEC last week. The three-day exhibition – aimed at decision makers in the transport industry – provided the perfect proving ground for our client to showcase their unique transport solutions. Known for our excellent barista skills, we managed to attract a number of influential  existing as well as prospective customers onto our clients stand.

“Purple did it again. We arrived in time for the opening on the first day to find an impressive stand, fully stocked and ready to go. Having worked with Purple for a number of years, I know I can leave them to come up with the goods, from stand design & build, to giveaways and manning schedules, they have it all covered with great attention to detail. This year’s stand outshone all previous and we attracted some very interesting people, so all round a huge success!” Andy Humpherson, MD, Jigsaw Transport.

New Account Exec at Purple

Purple Marketing is pleased to welcome Laura Riley to the team. Based locally, Laura joins us from an online sales and marketing environment, prior to which she was a marketeer in the automotive sector and therefore brings with her a wealth of sector relevant digital marketing & communications skills.

In her spare time, Laura will be found in the gym training for Wolf Runs! So, with Belle (our resident personal trainer), Kate (our ex-Olympic squad badminton player) and Debbi our keen cyclist – Purple has the makings of a great Tough Mudder Team – is there anyone out there that would like to challenge us?

Kate Joins Team Purple

Purple Marketing welcomes Kate Robertshaw to the team. Originally from Leeds, Kate moved down to Milton Keynes a few years ago to pursue a career with Team GB Badminton. As well as working in the Marketing Department for GB Badminton, Kate was ranked Number 3 (Womens Doubles Badminton) in the UK, representing Team England in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow 2014 where she won a Silver medal. Kate is still an active Badminton player but has chosen to focus on a marketing and communications career, and we are delighted she has joined Team Purple! Only a few days in and Kate is already making a positive contribution through her enthusiastic, creative and ‘can-do’ approach to supporting our clients.

New Client Rebrands!

The recent merger of Red Clam and Grantley created a great opportunity to rebrand and raise the profile of Guildford’s elite property sales, letting and finding agency. We are delighted to be working with The Grantley Group of companies, who are more than pleased  with their new corporate group branding.

“The design guys at Purple came up with some great conceptual work and the final result looks absolutely stunning. It’s hugely reflective of our company ethos; it’s bold, simple and innovative with great visual presence. We are very excited about our plans for The Grantley Group and have engaged with Purple Marketing to exploit local marketing and communication opportunities. We offer a wide range of high end property services in the Surrey area and are confident that Debbi and her team will add value to our sales activities and help drive the business to a whole new level.” Said Stephen Frost, Director of The Grantley Group.

Award Submission takes Centre Stage!

Purple Marketing helped elevate another client by researching and preparing their awards submission for the industry’s event of the year, The Motor Transport Awards 2015. The Grosvenor Hotel in London hosted the event and it’s where everybody who is anybody within the CV industry meets to celebrate the successes of their customers, colleagues and suppliers. Our client, Northside Truck & Van from Bradford was over the moon when they took centre stage to collect the Apprenticeship of the Year Award.

Our expertise in the commercial vehicle industry meant we were able to prepare a submission with minimal but factual input from the client, that was highly industry relevant, impressed the judges and following the win, provided Northside with a whole new marketing and communication platform locally and nationally. The words of the judges, “This was a stand-out entry!” Praise indeed.

Jigsaws marketing piece!

For the fourth consecutive year Purple Marketing designed, built and helped host one of their clients stands at the Annual Multimodal Exhibition, NEC, Birmingham. “Jigsaw Transport has been employing a wide range of our marketing services for more than four years now. We started with the rebranding of their organisation followed by communication projects, sponsorship activities, POS, award submissions, website design, show casing opportunities and much more!” said Debbi Hutt, Director at Purple Marketing.

The Multimodal Exhibition is the UK and Ireland’s premier freight transport, logistics and supply chain management event so the perfect platform to show case Jigsaw’s offering of large-scale management transport solutions. “We met a number of major businesses who were receptive to our value proposition and are looking to improve the performance of their transport operations,” says Andy Humpherson, Jigsaw’s Managing Director. “Multimodal has always been a key event for us and Purple has yet again come up with a great solution. A visually appealing stand which delivered the perfect balance of space utilisation, brand visibility and customer/prospect engagement. Based on the success of this and previous years, we will be taking more space next year”. “Over to you Purple!” He added.
